Use HRN’s advanced stats – Expected Wins and Impact to find jockeys that are performing significantly better (or worse) than their odds.
- Expected Wins – Looking at the odds of each jockey’s mounts at this track, along with other proprietary figures, we determine how many races each jockey would be “Expected” to win on each surface. This also gives us an “Expected Win %”.
- HRN’s Impact number – This compares the jockey’s expected wins and win % compared to actual wins and win %. A jockey riding longshots isn’t expected to win much, so if they are winning they are outperforming their odds!
